CASA Project at R2B – The results of our research

The CASA (Circular and Sustainable Additive Concrete) project took center stage at a key event dedicated to innovation and sustainability in the construction industry. During the meeting, we presented the results of our research on the development of eco-friendly cementitious materials, made from waste derived from local production chains such as the ceramics industry, the construction sector, agriculture, and energy.

The event brought together businesses, institutions, and research laboratories, creating a unique opportunity to share ideas and promote innovative solutions for reducing the use of virgin raw materials and CO2 emissions. We were able to showcase how the CASA project is contributing to the transition towards a circular and more sustainable economy, with the goal of developing more efficient, environmentally friendly construction materials.

Thanks to this initiative, we continue to strengthen the collaboration between the research world and businesses, aiming to bring new competitive products to the market that can improve concrete performance while reducing the environmental impact of the construction sector.
